Notes: Corporal Frisk was a member of Company C, 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantyry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in South Korea on February 12, 1951 and died while a prisoner on June 19, 1951. His remains were not recovered. Corporal Frisk was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Prisoner of War Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
