Jacob Gazett
1830-1894
Jacob Gazett was born in Switzerland. He emigrated to America in the early 1850s, first taking residence in the area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he remained for about 7 years. He then moved to Benton County, Minnesota. He served 3 years in the Civil War, in the 2nd Minnesota Cavalry.
He first married Anna Munch. They had 11 children. Anna Gazett died in 1881. Jacob then married Freda Cohn/Kuhn on May 15, 1883 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
